Vehicles and Driving
Can I request a specific make or model of vehicle?
We cannot guarantee a specific make or model due to the variety in our fleet. However, all vehicles within the same class will offer a similar size and passenger capacity.
Can I take my pets in the vehicle?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in our vehicles. If any animal fur or odours are detected, a cleaning fee starting from $299 will apply.
Can I smoke in the vehicle?
Smoking is not permitted in any of our vehicles. If smoking is detected, a cleaning fee starting from $299 will apply.
Can I take the vehicle off road or to the snow?
Our vehicles are not permitted to be used off-road or taken into snow areas.
Can I drive the vehicle anywhere in Australia?
You may drive an Alpha vehicle in most states and territories. However, travel is not permitted into or out of the Northern Territory, Western Australia, or Tasmania. Travel to any destination via barge or ferry transport is not permitted. Vehicles cannot be driven on unsealed roads or in snow areas.
Do I need to refuel the vehicle, and what fuel should I use?
All vehicles should be provided to you with a full tank of petrol. Please return the vehicle to us with a full tank. A refuelling fee of $4.40 per litre applies (minimum charge of $20).

Can I use the vehicle to tow?
Unfortunately, towing is not permitted with any of our vehicles.
