About the role
We are now looking for a Team Leader (Wash Bay/ Vehicle Preparation) at our flagship Eagle Farm, Brisbane location to serve as a link between our Vehicle Preparation Attendants, Customer Transfer Agents and Business Manager, and be responsible for coaching and mentoring staff while also performing Vehicle Preparation Attendant and Customer Transfer Agent responsibilities. The available role is 38 hours per week with 7-day rotating roster including weekends. The successful candidate will be rewarded with an hourly rate of range $26.65-$27.17 per hour plus applicable penalties commensurate with knowledge, skills and experience and superannuation according to the Super Guarantee. Your role and responsibilities:
• Supervises the day-to-day wash bay operations at location
• Vehicle cleaning and conditions tasks
• Checking for and recording vehicle damage
• Driving and ferrying vehicles
• Assist customer shuttle services ensuring safe driving, professionalism and providing quality customer service
• Operational risk and issue management
• Assists with process improvements and initiatives
• Demonstrate the Alpha Values of Accountability, Honesty, Loyalty, Respect & Trust at any time when representing the company
• Ensuring security and safety standards are followed and maintained
• Supports the Business Manager in all areas of running the wash bay area and customer shuttle service.

About you
You will be able to demonstrate:
• Excellent communication skills and a positive ‘Can do’ attitude
• Ability to work both unsupervised and within a team
• Ability to multi-task and highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Willingness to travel and work between locations
• A full and current relevant State driver’s licence
• Must be fit for role and able to work in outside environments
• Car washing or detailing experience highly regarded
• Previous Leadership highly regarded
