Can I hire a baby or booster seat?
Baby and booster seats are available for hire, subject to availability. Please note that installation is not provided; seats must be installed by the renter.
Windscreen & Tyre Protection: $9.90 per day
If a customer has the Zero Liability and damages both the tyres and windscreen, do they have to pay for both?
No, if you have selected Zero Liability, you are covered. For example, if you sustained a stone chip that later spread and also damaged two tyres by hitting a gutter, you would not have to pay for each event separately.
Does this apply to commercial vehicles (Trucks, Ute’s & Moving Vans)?
Yes, this protection is available for all vehicles in the Alpha fleet, including commercial vehicles such as trucks, utes, and moving vans.
A customer has an existing rental now; can they add this protection?
No, Windscreen & Tyre Protection can only be added during the booking process or when collecting the vehicle — it cannot be added once the rental has started.
Can third-party website booking customers add this option?
Yes, customers booking through third-party websites will be able to purchase this protection at the counter.
Please note: This product ensures that customers will not be liable for any fees if they cause damage to the windscreen or tyres of the vehicle.
Additionally, all customers with windscreen or tyre damage must complete the Accident Report Form in We Capture. Invoices must be submitted by the branch to Claims once the damaged item has been repaired or replaced.
