It may be possible to extend the rental. You will need to contact us on 1300 227 473. Any extensions are subject to vehicle availability and additional payment at the time of request.
When renting a vehicle through Alpha Vehicle Hire, you are permitted to drive on toll roads. Our vehicles are tag-less and the licence plate is captured to identify when a toll road is used. When you rent with us you agree to pay all toll costs including the applicable charge for the toll road used as well as a service fee for each toll charge. We will debit your nominated card as soon as practicable after the relevant toll fees are incurred and notified to us by the relevant tolling authority.
Please note, If there is a problem with your payment, you will be charged a dishonour fee. Your financial institution may also charge you additional fees, charges, and interest.
If you receive any traffic infringements during the rental period these will be nominated to you. It is then your responsibility to make payment. Each infringement incurs a $99 administration fee.
Firstly ensure the safety of all passengers in the vehicle and any other individual involved. Check if you need to report the accident to Police. It is important to collect the details of all parties involved, including the driver licence details, vehicle registration/s, details of the accident and any witness details.
If possible please take a photograph of any relevant details such as the driver licence of all drivers, evidence of the accident including damage to the vehicles.

You may drive an Alpha vehicle in most states and territories however travel is not permitted into or out of the Northern Territory, Western Australia and Tasmania. Travel to any destination via barge or ferry transport is not permitted. Vehicles cannot be driven on unsealed roads or in snow.
