On Sunday the 17th of Feb the world’s largest short film festival, Tropfest will be showing at South Bank. With free entry, and films all day, the festival offers a great range or fresh and established talent.

At sunset watch a movie at the Brisbane moonlight cinema. Running from early December to late Feb on the lawns of the Powerhouse, the cinema shows great range of classics and contemporary films.

If you love ballet, the famous Swan Lake is showing at QPAC Southbank from the 22 of Feb. Tickets won’t last so make sure you book soon!

Cricket is an Aussie summer tradition, so why not catch Sri Lanka vs Australia at the Gabba on the 17th of February. If you are after something slightly faster paced, Brisbane Roar plays Central Coast on the 1st of February at Suncorp stadium.

There is plenty of live music shows happening over February with everything from Sarah Blasko to Carol King appearing at QPAC. St Jerome’s Music Festival occurs on the 1st of the month, bringing with it side shows from headlines such as Bats for Lashes and Alpine.
