About the role

Alpha Car Hire is seeking a Customer Experience Representative and a Vehicle Cleaner to fill our casual opportunities at our fast-paced Tweed Heads branch. You will be responsible for attending to customers hire vehicle requirements ensuring our customers receive quality service and an experience they would repeat, share, or recommend. The available roles will be worked in accordance with a seven (7) day rotating roster within the branch operating hours of Monday to Sunday 5am to 9pm.

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Providing outstanding customer service by understanding and anticipating their needs
  • Opening and closing rental agreements
  • Selling additional over the counter rental products
  • Managing reservations
  • Checking for and recording vehicle damage and maintenance checks
  • Cleaning and presenting passenger and commercial vehicles
  • Movement of vehicles throughout the location and offsite for refuelling, maintenance, repairs or other location as required
  • Operating the Customer shuttle service in a safe and professional manner while ensuring it is maintained to a clean and safe standard
  • Ensuring compliance and workplace health and safety risks and incidents are reported promptly and managed effectively
  • General branch cleaning duties

Alpha Car Hire is looking for a Full-time Vehicle Cleaner to join our Operations team located in Mascot, Sydney. You will be responsible for ensuring vehicle cleaning is completed to a high standard resulting in a high-quality output to all customers. The available role will be worked in accordance with a seven (7) day rotating roster and required to work within the branch operating hours of Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, Saturday to Sunday 8am to 3pm.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with hourly award rates per applicable award classifications alongside superannuation according to the Super Guarantee.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Cleaning passenger and commercial vehicles

• Vehicle maintenance checks

• Checking for and recording vehicle damage

• Movement of vehicles on and offsite for refuelling, maintenance, repairs, delivery to customers or other location

• Assisting with Customer Service tasks as required

• Ensure compliance and workplace health and safety risks and incidents are reported promptly and managed effectively

Fleet Manager - Eagle Farm

Alpha Car Hire (ACH) strives to make road experiences easy and affordable through a commitment to providing the best customer experience and is seeking a permanent Fleet Manager at its Eagle Farm flagship. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the role is responsible for planning and coordinating the day-to-day fleet operations across all branch locations in QLD, VIC and NSW.

You will be accountable for overseeing fleet maintenance, cost management, efficient and cost-effective operations, fleet policies and procedures, compliance, safety, meeting performance targets, and upholding the company’s reputation and ethical company culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Fleet management and strategy including vehicle maintenance, fuel and other related costs, fleet optimisation, sustainability and technology implementation.
  • Vehicle maintenance and operations including maintenance scheduling, tracking, repairs, fuel consumption, prevention programs, fleet logistics, reporting, fleet policies and processes.
  • Compliance and legal including regulatory compliance with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards, manage fleet insurance, documentation and accurate records.
  • Training staff on damage, and all relevant fleet policy and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advocate company values.

Selection criteria

  • Valid Queensland Driver’s Licence, with an ability and willingness to travel between all Car Hire locations.
  • Available to work occasional weekends to support Operations activities.
  • Lead and motivate people including mechanics, drivers and others.
  • Mechanical sense about cars, development and implementation of long-term fleet strategies optimising operations.
  • Systems and process oriented proficient in technologies for fleet tracking, maintenance and data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, repair procedures, and developed cost effective maintenance programs.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to laws and regulations maintaining compliance.
  • Data analysis to identify trends, optimise operations and make data driven decisions.
  • Fuel management having implemented fuel-efficient strategies.
  • Initiative and communication skills, both written and verbal for interacting with employees, vendors and other stakeholders.
  • Adaptability for adapting to new technologies and changing regulations in a constantly evolving landscape.
  • Demonstrated commitment to cultural diversity and a working knowledge of equity and WHS principles in the workplace.
