Senior Accountant - Brisbane

About us

Alpha’s founder has operated in the Australian vehicle industry since 2006 providing fleet services in meeting with consumer demand, and today controls Alpha Car Hire (ACH) and Parking, Alpha Finance and Autos businesses.

ACH’s Finance & Accounting division is seeking a Senior Accountant who will work at our head office located in Brisbane’s CBD, in a solutions-focused and fast paced environment with daily display of honesty, accountability, respect, trust and loyalty in business undertakings.

About the role

The Senior Accountant reports directly to the ACH Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for managing all major reporting and reconciliation duties, AR/AP, balance sheet, asset management (fleet),payroll, GAAP principles compliance, support month and year end processes and tax audits and returns. The successful candidate will be tertiary qualified, with demonstrated abilities in general or tax accounting, computerised ledger systems, advanced knowledge of Excel, strong problem solving and analytical skills, and a proven ability to perform at a high pace cross functionally in an ever-changing business landscape and work environment.

Customer Experience Representative - Tweed Heads - Tweed Heads

About the role

We are now looking for a casual Customer Experience Representative at our Tweed Heads, Gold Coast location. You will be responsible for attending to customers vehicle hire requirements ensuring our customers receive quality service and an experience they would repeat, share, or recommend. The available role will be worked in accordance with our branch operating hours of Monday to Sunday 7am to 7pm.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Providing outstanding customer service by understanding and anticipating their needs

• Opening and closing car rental agreements

• Selling additional over the counter car rental products

• Managing reservations

• Conditioning returned vehicles

• Checking for and recording vehicle damage

• Driving and ferrying vehicles

• General branch cleaning duties

Vehicle Cleaner - Eagle Farm

About the role

We are now looking for permanent Vehicle Cleaner at our flagship Eagle Farm, Brisbane location. You will be responsible for ensuring vehicle cleaning is completed to a high standard resulting in a high-quality output to all customers. The available roles will be worked in accordance with a seven (7) day rotating roster and required to work within the branch operating hours of Monday to Friday 7am to 9pm, Saturday to Sunday 7am to 7pm.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with hourly award rates per applicable award classifications and eligibility for the monthly reward scheme alongside superannuation according to the Super Guarantee.

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Cleaning passenger and commercial vehicles
  • Vehicle maintenance checks
  • Checking for and recording vehicle damage
  • Movement of vehicles on and offsite for refuelling, maintenance, repairs, delivery to customers or other location
  • Assisting Customers
  • Ensure compliance and workplace health and safety risks and incidents are reported promptly and managed effectively
  • General branch cleaning duties
