Vehicle Preparation Leader - Eagle Farm

About the role

We are now looking for a Vehicle Preparation Leader at our flagship Eagle Farm, Brisbane location to serve as a link between our Vehicle Preparation Attendants, Customer Transfer Agents and Business Manager, and be responsible for coaching and mentoring staff while also performing Vehicle Preparation Attendant and Customer Transfer Agent responsibilities. The available role is 38 hours per week with 7 day rotating roster including weekends.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Supervises the day-to-day wash bay operations at location

• Vehicle cleaning and conditions tasks

• Checking for and recording vehicle damage

• Driving and ferrying vehicles

• Assist customer shuttle services ensuring safe driving, professionalism and providing quality customer service

• Operational risk and issue management

• Assists with process improvements and initiatives

• Demonstrate the Alpha Values of Accountability, Honesty, Loyalty, Respect & Trust at any time when representing the company

• Ensuring security and safety standards are followed and maintained

• Supports the Business Manager in all areas of running the wash bay area and customer shuttle service.

About you

You will be able to demonstrate:

• Excellent communication skills and a positive ‘Can do’ attitude

• Ability to work both unsupervised and within a team

• Ability to multi-task and highly organised with strong attention to detail

• Willingness to travel and work between locations

• A full and current relevant State driver’s licence

• Must be fit for role and able to work in outside environments

• Car washing or detailing experience highly regarded

• Previous Leadership highly regarded

Customer Experience Representative - Tweed Heads

About the role

Alpha Car Hire has a casual Customer Experience Representative opportunity available at our Tweed Head location. You will be responsible for attending to customers hire vehicle requirements ensuring our customers receive quality service and an experience they would repeat, share, or recommend. The available roles will be worked in accordance with a seven (7) day rotating roster and required to work within the branch operating hours of Monday to Sunday 7am to 7pm.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with hourly award rates per applicable award classifications and eligibility for the monthly reward scheme alongside superannuation according to the Super Guarantee.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Providing outstanding customer service by understanding and anticipating their needs

• Opening and closing rental agreements

• Selling additional over the counter rental products

• Managing reservations

• Conditioning returned vehicles

• Checking for and recording vehicle damage

• Movement of vehicles on and offsite for refuelling, maintenance, repairs, delivery to customers or other location Occasional cleaning and presenting passenger and commercial vehicles

• Ensure compliance and workplace health and safety risks and incidents are reported promptly and managed effectively

• General branch cleaning duties

• Experience, although preferred, is not essential
