Sales & Marketing Manager - Brisbane

About us

Alpha’s Founder has operated in the Australian vehicle industry since 2006 providing fleet services in meeting with consumer demand, and today controls separate Car Hire and Parking, Car Finance and Car Sales businesses.

The Alpha Finance SME enables customers to own a vehicle affordably with efficiency and is seeking a standalone hands-on permanent part-time Sales & Marketing Manager (15 hours a week) to immerse in our business, plan and manage its sales and marketing activities to generate revenue. The role is located at Alpha’s head office in Brisbane’s CBD and reports directly to the Alpha Finance General Manager and indirectly to Alpha’s Owner/Founder.

The successful candidate will be solutions focused and at home in a fast-paced environment with daily display of Alpha values, honesty, accountability, respect, trust, and loyalty.

Key responsibilities

  • Developing sales and marketing strategies to help meet revenue targets
  • Preparing sales and marketing budgets including creating sales pipeline projections
  • Evaluating the performance of sales and marketing targets
  • Developing campaigns for a range of purposes, such as brand awareness or product promotion
  • Presenting sales and marketing reports to senior management
  • Conducting market research to identify opportunities, helping to shape strategies, messaging, or product development
  • Managing and developing strategic partnerships to help with business growth

Essential qualifications and skill requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree specialising in Sales, Marketing, and/or related field
  • Proven results as a Sales & Marketing Manager or similar role in same or similar industry and sized business
  • Thrive in fast paced and competitive environment and is results oriented, whilst balancing with people centric
  • Motivated, driven, and passionate nature
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to analyse sales data, identify trends, and make data driven decisions
  • Well-developed skills in building relationships, negotiation, and collaboration
  • Demonstrated abilities in planning, organisation, and project management
  • Understanding and application of digital platforms and technologies including social medial, and search engine optimisation
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in WordPress, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Social Media including Meta, Looker Studio and SEO tools including SEM Rush and Screaming Frog (advantageous)

Car Sales Manager - Logan Central

Alpha’s Autos business located at our flagship Autos site at Logan is seeking a hands-on Car Sales Manager to lead and motivate car sales staff, set and achieve car sales targets, manage inventory and pricing, provide customer service and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and maximise profitability.

Our Car Sales Manager will operate in a solutions-focused and fast paced environment with daily display of Alpha values, honesty, accountability, respect, trust and loyalty in all business undertakings.

Role responsibilities

  • Leading, coaching, and motivating car sales staff with regular performance reviews and feedback to improve sales skills of the team you manage
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to drive sales growth to optimise Dealership Profits
  • Ability to achieve/ exceed internal targets for the Dealership, whilst setting and monitoring sales targets for your team
  • Analyse sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build strong customer relationships
  • Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and issues professionally and effectively
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Disciplined Management of the Dealership Inventory and Stock Turn. Set competitive pricing strategies and negotiate deals
  • Collaborate with Marketing Manager and General Manager to implement marketing and promotional campaigns to attract customers and generate leads
  • Ensure smooth and efficient operations of the sales department
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines and service delivery standards
  • Maintain high data and administration reporting standards

Essential qualifications and skill requirements

  • Motor salesperson registration certificate and proof of
  • Valid driver’s licence and proof of
  • Proven experience in automotive sales and sales management

  • Proven ability to drive sales, close deals and achieve targets
  • Ability to analyse sales data, identify trends, and make data driven decisions
  • Ability to resolve customer issues and challenges effectively
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Thorough knowledge of the automotive industry, products, and sales processes
