Australia is not a stranger to pride parades, most especially Sydney. The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras has been around since 1978, and is one of Australia’s most well-known annual events. It is loved by many, and tourists from all over the world even fly to Australia to attend the most awaited event.

The event can last up to 3-4 weeks, with different programs featured during different time slots. It encourages a lot of people to show their pride, celebrate, and express themselves. The Sydney and Gay Mardi Gras showcases different talents of the people in the LGBTQI community, and allows gay, lesbians, bisexuals, transgenders, intersex, and queer people to take pride in who they truly are and what they do.

The event will run from February 17 to March 5. Attendees can choose to attend a wide variety of different events, and it’s best to plan which ones you are going to attend. If you’re coming as a group, then it would definitely be convenient for you if you get a car hire in Sydney.
