Newcastle residents will have a new way to unwind after a long day of work. The Newcastle City Council is planning to erect a karaoke bar in the inner city. What’s more, the karaoke bar is in the inner parts of the city, making it more accessible to everyone who wants to party with their friends.
The Frank Schoonatra Pty Ltd has reached out to the Newcastle City government. They then proposed to convert the former Nautilus gym in Union Street. The plan is to turn the old gym into an eight-room karaoke venue. The karaoke bar’s name will be Jam’s. Along with the karaoke bar, a vintage clothes shop is set to open. Here, people can buy cool vintage items.
The press received planning documents for the business. It revealed that the new karaoke bar will cater to younger adults and professionals. The karaoke bar will also have a trendy atmosphere together with private karaoke rooms for parties.
When Jam’s open for business, sing with your friends and coworkers until 2 am from Wednesdays to Saturdays, and until midnight on Sundays.
