Perth may be an isolated city, but that doesn’t stop its residents from having fun this Christmas season. In fact, the city transforms itself seemingly overnight just to get into the spirit of the holidays. If you’re visiting Perth during this time of the year, then get ready to take part in the city’s celebrations

Christmas in Perth

The city government along with different organisations and clubs have put together these set of activities and events that will be around the town for most of December until January. If you have kids or are just looking for the perfect romantic Christmas to spend with your SO, then you will have no problem finding the complete holiday celebration.

Christmas Nativity

What better way to start off the holidays than by watching the famous nativity scene. Audiences are encouraged to bring their food, preferably dinner food and their picnic blankets for the show. Enjoy a family meal on the grass as you witness the birth of Christ. The show will be held from December 20 to the 22nd around 7:00 PM with a pre-show at 6:00 PM.

Everyone can enjoy these lights as they will remain up from November 17th up until Christmas day.

Christmas in VR

Send your kids to the North Pole! Take your kids to the Imaginarium Virtual Reality Discovery Centre. They can get in on the action and help Santa and the elves prepare for Christmas. Other activities your kids can take on through the magical of VR include  riding Santa’s sleigh, and watch amazing 360-videos in their Magical Spherical Cinema.

Christmas Carnival

Carnivals are always a lot of fun for the entire family. And Perth has set up a free Christmas carnival which will be functional from November 25 up until December.
