There’s nothing better than barbies and beer, and good ol’ Adelaide is having a festival dedicated to these two things for July. So get ready for some great beer and bbq for your next visit.

Bbq and Beer in Adelaide

Grab your mates and take a trip down to Adelaide from July 6 to 8 and be part of the biggest festival in the area. Here, everyone can down a few pints and enjoy some well-cooked barbecues with your pals.

Tickets are currently available online, and each ticket is priced starting at $30. Depending on what ticket you buy, you will have different access to the event. Here is a quick breakdown:

$30 +$2.24 BF & GST [July 8: “Hair of the Dog” session 11am-6pm]

This event is family friendly and will give goers access to the 2nd annual ABBF Beer Bod Wet -Shirt Championship, hot dog eating contest, barber battles, and so much more. You can also attend the brewers’ discussion where everything about beer is discussed, from the future of the ale, down to why you would like to start your craft beer.

$40+$2.63 BF & GST [July 7: “Beer Geek: A Hop Odyssey” 11am-5pm]

This will also give you access to the beer discussion, as well as Q&A’s with chefs who have mastered the art of barbecues. You are also given a chance to watch the Up in Smoke BBQ Competition happening later in the day.

$45 +$2.83 BF & GST [July 6: “Bright Lights, Beer City” 6pm-12am]

Kick off your Friday night with the Bright Lights, Beer City session. Catch The Preatures, Jen Cloher, and Gooch Palms as Matty Matheson hosts the event, plus the Royal Adelaide Beer & Cider Awards will be presented. There will be more announcements for this date very soon.

$45 +$2.83 BF & GST [July 7: “Top of the Hops” 6pm-12am]

Matty Matheson will be back to host the Saturday event. Holy Holy, Bob Evans, and Maddy Jain will be performing on the main stage that day. Listen to them rock out as you browse through the Up in Smoke BBQ Competition and find your favourite one.

$80 + $4.17 BF & GST [Season Pass]

this ticket will give you complete access for the entire weekend. But get yours quick as they are limited.
