Can I check the rates without making a reservation?
You may request a quotation and check availability without making a reservation. Complete only the first pages of the rates and reservations process. If you wish to make a reservation at this time and with these details simply continue by pressing the “Book Now” Button.
Can I extend the rental duration?
Extending the rental duration is possible at time of check out or during the rental itself. You will need to contact or come in person to the nearest location. The extension is subject to vehicle availability and extra payment.
Can I use another person’s Credit Card to pay for my rental?
Yes, however, the person with the credit card must be on the Rental Contract as the main driver so they will need to have a current open driver’s licence written in English.
What happens if I return the vehicle late?
What is covered by your roadside assistance?
All vehicles are covered by 24-hour roadside assistance for all mechanical faults with the vehicle.
Free Roadside Assistance does not cover non-mechanical defects and driver errors, such as lost keys, keys locked in the vehicle, flat battery due to lights being left on, etc. These instances will incur a $180 fee per call-out.
However, all costs are waived if the customer avails of the $5.50 per day Roadside Assistance package.
Do you offer commercial hire terms?
How will I know my reservation is confirmed?
At the end of the reservation process, you will receive a “Reservation Confirmation” page with the reservation number highlighted. You will also receive a confirmation email containing the details of your reservation and collection procedure.
Is it possible to cancel or modify my reservation once it is confirmed?
Yes. Please contact our Reservations Staff and they will be more than happy to help 1300 227 473.
Do you charge cancellation Fees?
You may receive a refund of your booking fee, minus any applicable cancellation fees. We do not charge cancellation fees for bookings cancelled more than 48 hours before pickup. Otherwise, for cancellations within or less than 48 hours of pickup, a fixed $75 cancellation fee will be applicable.

What does Standard Liability Protection Cover?
All Alpha vehicles which are rented have comprehensive insurance with a standard liability that is applicable to renters that may be reduced with one of Alpha’s waiver options. For passenger vehicles (hatchbacks, sedans, family cars, SUVs, 8-seater vans and Utes) the standard liability is $5,000 for drivers over 21 years of age. What are the exclusions to liability waivers?
The following are not covered by the Total Protection Liability Waiver, Premium Protection Liability Waiver, or the Collision Damage Liability Waiver:
- Reversing damage
- Overhead damage
- Undercarriage damage
- Water damage
- Hail damage
- Negligence or Abuse
Please note that you will not have the benefit of Alpha’s insurance if the rental vehicle is driven on unsealed roads.

Our company carries the LDVG10 model which runs on petrol, but please note that models are subject to availability. Please make sure to ask the branch when they turn over the vehicle to you.
Do your vans have rear cameras?
Yes, to give you the best in safety, our vans are equipped with reversing cameras and sensors.
Do your vans have USB ports to connect my phone to it?
Yes, our vans have USB ports to charge your devices.
How do I use cruise control?
To use cruise control on a van, you will first need to turn the feature on by pressing a button on the steering wheel or dashboard. The vehicle will then maintain this speed automatically, allowing you to relax and focus on the road. It is important to note that cruise control is best used on highways or other areas with long, straight stretches of road.
