Can I check the rates without making a reservation?
Can I extend the rental duration?
Can I use another person’s Credit Card to pay for my rental?
Yes, however, the person with the credit card must be on the Rental Contract as the main driver so they will need to have a current open driver’s licence written in English.
What happens if I return the vehicle late?
What is covered by your roadside assistance?
All vehicles are covered by 24-hour roadside assistance for all mechanical faults with the vehicle.
Free Roadside Assistance does not cover non-mechanical defects and driver errors, such as lost keys, keys locked in the vehicle, flat battery due to lights being left on, etc. These instances will incur a $180 fee per call-out.
However, all costs are waived if the customer avails of the $5.50 per day Roadside Assistance package.
Do you offer commercial hire terms?
If you run a business with ongoing transportation needs, you know as well as anyone that handling maintenance, inventory and financing can be both an expense and a hassle. If you need to supplement your fleet for a short-term or longer term, our friendly team will happily provide a quote.
How will I know my reservation is confirmed?
At the end of the reservation process, you will receive a “Reservation Confirmation” page with the reservation number highlighted. You will also receive a confirmation email containing the details of your reservation and collection procedure.
Is it possible to cancel or modify my reservation once it is confirmed?
Yes. Please contact our Reservations Staff and they will be more than happy to help 1300 227 473.
Do you charge cancellation fees?
You may receive a refund of your booking fee, minus any applicable cancellation fees. We do not charge cancellation fees for bookings cancelled more than 48 hours before pickup. Otherwise, for cancellations within or less than 48 hours of pickup, a fixed $75 cancellation fee will be applicable.

What does Standard Liability Protection Cover?
All Alpha vehicles which are rented have comprehensive insurance with a standard liability that is applicable to renters that may be reduced with one of Alpha’s waiver options. For passenger vehicles (hatchbacks, sedans, family cars, SUVs, 8-seater vans and Utes) the standard liability is $5,000 for drivers over 21 years of age. What are the exclusions to liability waivers?
The following are not covered by the Total Protection Liability Waiver, Premium Protection Liability Waiver, or the Collision Damage Liability Waiver:
- Reversing damage
- Overhead damage
- Undercarriage damage
- Water damage
- Hail damage
- Negligence or Abuse
Please note that you will not have the benefit of Alpha’s insurance if the rental vehicle is driven on unsealed roads.

What is the preferable fuel for your Compact Cars?
The Hyundai i30 is a compact hatchback with variants that use different fuel types. While the most common fuel type is petrol, some models run on diesel engines, so it’s best to confirm it on the phone when you book or through our staff when you pick up your car from the branch.
Can I attach baby seats to your compact cars?
Yes, the baby seats and booster seats we provide are up to industry standards and can easily be installed into any of our compact cars.
Do your compact cars have rear cameras?
Yes, for your added safety and convenience, our economy cars are equipped with reverse cameras. But please be reminded that you should still check your mirrors and surroundings when backing up.
Do your compact cars support Apple Car Play or Android Auto?
This feature varies between models. Please confirm this information at the counter when you pick up your car.
Do your compact cars have USB ports to connect my phone to it?
Yes, our economy cars have USB ports to charge your devices.
