You may request a quotation and check availability without making a reservation. Complete only the first pages of the rates and reservations process. If you wish to make a reservation at this time and with these details simply continue by pressing the “Book Now” Button.
At the end of the reservation process, you will receive a “Reservation Confirmation” page with the reservation number highlighted. You will also receive a confirmation email containing the details of your reservation and collection procedure.
Extending the rental duration is possible at time of check out or during the rental itself. You will need to contact or come in person to the nearest location. The extension is subject to vehicle availability and extra payment.

Yes, however, the person with the credit card must be on the Rental Contract as the main driver so they will need to have a current open driver’s licence written in English.
Bookings canceled more than 48 hours before pickup are fully refundable, with no cancellation fees. However, cancellations made within 48 hours of pickup will incur a fixed $75 fee.
If the vehicle is returned up to 1 hour late, one-third of the rental will be charged. If it is returned beyond two hours late, two-thirds of the rental will be charged. If returned three hours late or more, a full day’s rental is charged.

Having hired a car in march 2025 at alpha car rentals in brisbane australia i was very impressed by the shuttle service pick up at brisbane airport and so delighted to meet Mike who made the ride to the rental office so enjoyable. Although we had a wait at the office for the car we booked for hire, it was made less of a wait by talking to the staff about the area, which was the best route to take to get me to my destination. I found them very helpful, knowledge, totally supportive and honest in not trying to upsell me insurance i didn’t need.

One of the best rental experiences I've had so far! The shuttle bus pickup was seamless, and the drivers were friendly, courteous, and attentive. I had several pieces of luggage, and they helped me load them onto the bus, making the process stress-free.The counter staff were welcoming and informative, and the rates were the most affordable I found. They even helped adjust the rental hours to maximize my usage. The child seat hire was also cheaper than other providers.Best of all, the bond was released within 30 minutes of returning the car. I’ll definitely use this company again when I visit Brisbane!
Not familiar with Brisbane airport and Alpha made it stress free with prearranged shuttle to site. Hassle-free check-in to pickup vehicle and drop off on return. Company cars modern spotless and comfortable. Very much made a 4 day trip from NT easier. Recommend company to others.
A great company, spacious office, affordable cars, they do get more revenues from add ons as the sales push for them, which is fair enough. Standard insurance comes with 5k excess.The van comes pretty quickly to pick up customers from the airport, although you would need to call their landline number beforehand, so be careful if you only have data pack.Their website is also good, prices on the website is cheaper than aggregator/ agents sites.The best thing about this company is that they open from 7am till 9pm, very handy.
Your service on line at counter was prompt.Our car was good and clean, there was no cigarette smell in the car.Alpha shuttle service was great, very good customer service from the gentleman that picked us up and dropped is off at the airport.We would definitely use them again

I have hired cars all over the world and this would be by far the best experience I have ever had. Everyone involved was well trained and helpful. The car was great (Maybe could have had a bit of instruction with use of modern cars). The two drivers of the shuttle were really good and there was very little wait.An all-round pleasant experience.Thank you.
Cannot fault any part of the experience with Alpha Car Hire. The pick up and drop off driver was amazing helpful and very professional, office staff efficient and pleasant, the car was clean but was not impressed with the MG3. Overall a great experience
Highly recommended! Great value, no nonsense car hire co. Airport shuttle drivers were great, and even helped us return to get a handbag left in their waiting room. Service staff explained everything carefully and the car was perfect for our needs!

Alpha provides an excellent array of well-priced, high-quality vehicles for hire. Their service - from the airport shuttle right through the collection of the car - is efficient, friendly, and generally pleasant. On return, the efficiency is magnified, and the shuttle back to the airport is timely and comfortable. The quality of the end-to-end service is very high. I highly recommend Alpha if you ever need a car hire when flying in from Brisbane.
My partner and I rented a car for five day in our stay in the Gold Coast and the price was really good and affordable. The process to pick up and dropp off the car were also really fast and easy, and the car that they gave us was beautiful and really easy to drive!Gonna choose Alpha Car next time for sure! =)
Customer service is good. Picking up and returning of the car is hassle free. Car is relatively new and well maintained. Price is cheaper compared to other established companies. Shuttle service is efficient. Will definitely recommend to friends and families. Rented from 9th Dec toc 2023.
The airport shuttle was efficient. There’s a free public phone at the international airport that you can use to call for it, and we waited about 10 minutes. The purple buses are easy to spot. When we returned the car at the end of the hire the shuttle went straight away.The car was a fairly basic model with 48k km on the clock but it did the job, and was clean and in good condition. Good value. I would use them again.
Good cars, excellent variety and keen rates. Easy website booking. Airport pick up and drop off very good. Good people to deal with. I’ve used these guys twice and will continue on every Brisbane visit.
First time hire with Alpha and I must say it was great. Much better value than other hire companies. Was reticent about the off airport location but the shuttle was easy, virtually no waiting and drivers friendly and polite. Check-in and drop off very easy as well. Again, staff were great. Car clean and no problems.
I used Alpha 10 years back when they had just started out and loved their service back then, so when it came time to hire another car in Brisbane I sought them out. Super pleased to see their great work has paid off and they are now a massive company but have retained the small company service and vibe. Super friendly staff from the shuttle drivers, to front desk and phones. 0800 is answered quickly unlike others. Nice vehicles and great price. Will be back for sure.
Great experience renting a truck (both times). In both cases - clean interior, runs well. Hydraulic lift, A/C, cruise control were in good working order. Booked and paid online, no hassle pickup and drop off, friendly staff. Also, great price on truck rental, looks like the best in the city. Don't forget to fill that tank when returning the vehicle.
The business is located in the perfect spot in Hendra and there is a service station only metres away, making it super easy to refuel just before returning the car. The staff are quick, friendly and efficient. The car I had was relatively new and in excellent condition (although it did need a more thorough clean, which could be due to my last minute booking). The shuttle bus runs regularly and the driver was extremely helpful and considerate. Overall, I was very happy with every aspect of my first experience with them. It won't be my last!
