A ‘technical glitch’ caused major delays and left hundreds of passengers stranded in Sydney Airport this Friday morning.

According to news reports, this technical issue interrupted passenger processing at International Terminal 1 and Domestic Terminal 2 up until 8:30 a.m.

The technical issue disrupted systems, including CCTV, said a spokesperson for Sydney Airport.

“The safety and security of our passengers is our number one priority and we are pleased to say that all systems are operating as normal. Our priority now is to ensure all passengers are safely on their way,” the spokesperson added.
